My hands effortlessly maneuvered the key into the door knob and successfully unlocked the door to get inside the house. It was a long day closing the deal of our new beach house but my mind was set to jump right back into the flow of craziness inside the house. And as soon as I walked through the doors I felt a tug on my coat..

The silk, 1000 threaded sheets rustled as I climbed out of bed. Earlier after finally putting Graham, Calista & Lilah down for naps I had some time to myself. Time to shower, make dinner, and watch a movie in bed.
Now, nearly 5 hours later the kids & myself, were just waking up.
I pushed my arms out to my sides and raised them above my head yawning, my feet were dangling from the king sized bed until I finally stood steadily on the carpeted floor. My eyes flurried over to the clock besides my bed which read 6:14 and without another thought I slid on my slippers and shimmied back into my robe. The hallway was my destination, to see who was awake. One by one I checked the bedroom's of Graham, Calla & Lilah but all three of them where not to be found were I had left them. Stumped, I rushed downstairs to the kitchen and in the heap of all my confusion the most obvious room -the playroom- had seemed to slip my mind. My leg's ran as fast as they could and it felt like forever until I made it to the playroom. As I approached the door I heard the familiar laughter of Calla & Lilah followed by an unsettling sigh from Graham. My finger's traced the stainless steel doorknob, opening the door to find Graham in a princess dress with makeup smeared across his unhappy face. Within a second the laughter of the girls were hushed and the whole room fell silent.
